Considered Design

Design & testing is a key principle of our Business and we go to great lengths to ensure our products always perform efficiently & reliably.

Our dedicated R&D department are continually developing new products and solutions whilst looking to improve on the wide range of existing items already in our catalogue.

Part of the research and development of our communications cabinets for the next generation of fixed line, fibre and mobile networking is to ensure all our units are suitable for the environments they will encounter.

Telecoms

Since initial design for the 5G roll out began in 2019, we have worked closely with our customers design teams to help design products and solutions for the ongoing 5G Street Works and Vendor Swap programs. This has involved designing a wide range of products to meet the various project requirements and being rolled out nationally. We continually work with the design teams, radio equipment vendors and SWC’s to refine and amend the designs (following field trials) to ensure these cabinets can be installed and swapped out as effectively as possible and to minimize down time or wasted visits. We continue to monitor and act upon feedback to eliminate any design or ongoing installation issues.

HVAC

Where early BMS upgrade projects were found to impact heavily on customer plant downtime, our R&D design team were able to find a solution that led to a downtime of less than a day, meaning essential items such as heating & hot water could be ‘live’ again within a matter of hours. Our BMS Upgrade BP transition system has now been installed in most of the nation’s biggest sectors including Defence, Health, Motoring & Banking.

Event and Product Launch Displays

At CL we love a challenge, so when one of our customers asked for a motorized display unit for a new product launch our research and development team jumped straight in! This led to us building fully automated display rigs for such products too, which have now been shown worldwide.

We have worked with the marketing teams from some of the worlds leading domestic appliance and personal care product manufacturers by helping them bring launch event ideas from initial briefs to reality. Through design and on to the manufacture and supply of innovative special products which form part of the customers events.

These are shipped all over the globe and shown at high profile events and product launches which helps our customers demonstrate their products and engage with their customers.
